in Djursholms Tennis Club, at 19:30. The day after that on Saturday 12 November at 19:30
we end the Polonia Tennis 2011 with a wonderful celebration!
The festivities will take place in a restaurant Jakthornet at Tennis Stadium, Fiskatorpsv 20 – Sthlm.

Djurholm’s Tennis Club has on the 26th November 2010 for the fourth time witnessed the tennis rivalry at Polonia Tenis Tournament in Stockholm. Similarly to the recent years, the tournament gathered competitors from various branches including business, art and culture and the like.
This year men’s double and mixed double have been the most popular categories among the players.

In total these two categories gathered as many as 48 competitors. Among them; writer Andrzej Szmilichowski, surgeon Igor Niczajew, businessman President of Oriflame Robert Af Jochnick and others. Many intense duels were fought as a part of a gentlemanly competition and the final matches ended well after midnight. Radek Lepkowski and Wojtek Chacholski reproduced the last year’s success winning 2:1 over Erik Gewers och Björn Frisell. Another replicated success was that of Barbara och Tomas Johanson who defeated Elisabeth Husman och Mr Muszynski in the category mixed double scoring 9:2 in the final.

The tournament gathered quite a few viewers and among them, known for his passion for tennis, Polish General Consul, Radosław Wojciechowski and wife. Polish Consulate has, similarly to previous years co-sponsored, the fourth edition of Polonia Tenis Tournament. Bukowski, Polska Statens Turistbyrå, MilleNotti, Rodium, Boreson & Boreson, Poloniainfo and Nowa Gazeta Polska complemented the sponsorship team.
The day after … both competitors and guests attended “Andrzejki” tennis ball at Jakthornet Restaurant, the latter also serving delicious foods. Italian dance band duo, Bruno Piccano ensured that the dancing floor was fully covered by dancers and among them, our tapper tennis players certainly.

Weekend in Sopot

One of the big prizes in Polonia Tennis 2009 was a weekend for two people in a luxury hotel in Sopot. The prize was sponsored by the Polish National Tourist Office in Stockholm in cooperation with Rezydent Hotel in Sopot.Lucky winners Malgosia and Jurek in their pleasant stay in Sopot.
W piątek 13 listopada 2009 w hali tenisowej Djursholm Tennisklubb w Danderyd odbyły się tenisowe rywalizacje polonijnych tenisistów z naszymi szwedzkimi przyjaciółmi. Tegoroczna trzecia już edycja turnieju Polonia Tenis Stockholm – zgromadziła 42 zawodników w tym 9 kobiet i 33 mężczyzn. Zawody jak zwykle odbywały się w kategorii deblowej czyli tej najbardziej towarzyskiej – debel mężczyzn i mikst. Założeniem
bowiem organizatorów jest, aby obok sportowych potyczek turniej był okazją do spotkania wielu fajnych ludzi oraz zabawy w miłym gronie. W tym roku wyrażnie dominowali Polacy (w odroznieniu od lat poprzednich gdzie pierwsze miejsca zarowno w deblu meskim jak i damskim zdobywali szwedzi ) – po zaciętej walce w zakończonym około 1:30 w nocy finałowym meczu wyłonili się zwycięzcy: grający w parze Radek Lepkowski i Wojtek Chacholski (pierwszy i piaty od prawej strony) W kategorii mixt deklasujac swoich przeciwnikow wygrała fenomenalna Basia Johansson z mezem Tomem. Zas wszyscy zawodnicy na pamiątkę uczestnictwa w zawodach otrzymali symboliczne statuetki. Nazajutrz po południu tj w sobotę, dzielni tenisisci pojawili sie na Balu Tenisowym w restauracji Jakthörnet witani serdecznie przez gospodarzy turnieju. Tu, przy wspaniałej muzyce w wykonaniu włoskiego duetu Bruno Piccano, rozgrywane były kolejne pojedynki, tym razem taneczne. I tak gorącą atmosferę wieczoru podniosło losowanie nagród w zorganizowanej dzięki hojnym sponsorom
> loterii fantowej. W ręce posiadaczy szczęśliwych losów poszły złote naszyjniki od firmy Rodium, przepiękna oprawiona w brylanty czarna perła od Linda Köpper Design, mięciutkie i pachnące zestawy ręczników od firmy Mille Notti, wejściowe karnety do Tjejgym oraz całe mnóstwo słodkich misiów, łosiów I piesków od firmy Bukowski. Ostatni zmęczeni lecz zadowoleni tancerzy opuścili parkiet godzinę po północy.
The Djursholm Tennisklubb Hall held the tennis competitions among the Polonia tennis players and their Swedish counterparts on Friday 13th November 2009. This third edition of the Polonia Tennis Stockholm Tournament gathered in total 42 competitors including 9 women and 33 men.
As the assumption of the organisers was, apart from sporting competitions, to provide the opportunity to meet in a friendly environment and have a good time together, the competitions were held in the most sociable form of doubles contest in the category men´s doubles and mixed doubles.

This year´s competitions were dominated by the Poles (unlike in the previous years when the winners in both categories were the Swedes) – after the hard-hitting struggle, in the match finished around 1.30 am., the winners finally became known: playing the men´s double Radek Lepkowski and Wojtek Chacholski (first and fifth from the right). The winners in the mixed category were phenomenal Basia Johansson together with her husband Tom, who both outclassed other competitors . All other players received symbolical statuettes to commemorate the participation in the competitions.

Next day, on the Saturday afternoon, all the tapper tennis players were welcomed wholeheartedly by the organisers of the Tournament in Jakthörnet Restaurant where they could enjoy themselves participating in the Tennis Ball. Here, accompanied by wonderful music of the Italian duo Bruno Piccano, the hot atmosphere of the evening was enhanced with a prize lottery organised thanks to generous sponsors. The lucky lottery winners received gold necklaces from Rodium, a beautiful black pearl mounted with diamonds from Linda Köpper Design, soft and scented towel sets from Mille Notti, free entrance tickets to Tjejgym and plenty of sweet teddy bears, elks and dogs from Bukowski.
Last tired but happy dancers left the parquet approximately an hour after midnight.
